Carpet Burns oscillates between post-punk, shoegaze, psych and noise rock, bathed in a kinetic and somber ambiance. Formed in the Paris underground scene around a mutual taste of bands like Joy Division, Sonic Youth or The Horrors, the quartet overlays its fuzz-driven melodic guitars & bass textures, primal drums and cathartic baritone vocals in a chaotic and instinctive approach.
